World renowned keynote speakers to present at Brisbane developer conference and awards

The following days at the Urbanity conference will discuss various issues affecting the global forces shaping the way our cities develop and invest. Matt Okine will MC the Urban Developer Awards.The night will be MC’d by comedian and former Triple J presenter Matt Okine, a decision which Mr Di Marco said was to take a lighthearted approach to presenting the awards and talking about the industry.“I have given him carte blanche on what he can say, so we’re going to be a bit more experimental,” he said. “We want it to be a true celebration of what we do.”“We think that by taking that approach, we encourage excellence in a more harmonious way.”“This is something we want to grow and nurture to ensure that we’re bringing the best out of the industry which is shaping the world around us.” CNN war correspondent Michael Ware.THE Urban Developer Awards will kick off on the first of a three-day conference called Urbanity, bringing together keynote speakers from across the development industry.After announcing their shortlist of finalists for 21 categories last month, the winners of the Urban Developer Awards will be announced on Wednesday, September 19.last_img
