Five drown while bathing in Hulu Ganga in Kandy

(Colombo Gazette) According to the Police the incident took place in the Panwila area in Kandy.During a joint search operation the Police recovered the bodies of three women and one man. Five people drowned while bathing in the Hulu Ganga in Kandy today, the Police said.The Police said that four bodies had been recovered including that of three women.
